Kubernetes 1.34 hits end of life: what changes on EKS, GKE and AKS
Kubernetes 1.34 stops receiving upstream patches on October 27, 2026. Providers handle it differently: EKS auto-upgrades the control plane without notice and raises the price from $0.10 to $0.60 per cluster-hour, GKE upgrades on its own schedule, and AKS simply stops shipping security patches.
