Chrome on Googlebooks lacks multi-profile support

Chrome on the new Googlebook OS does not support multiple profiles, even though Chrome OS has offered profile switching for years and Chrome on iOS supports it too. Googler Mishaal Rahman confirmed the limitation on Reddit. A workaround is installing the Beta or Canary build of Chrome.

• Chrome on Googlebook OS cannot switch between profiles
• Chrome OS and Chrome on iOS both support multiple profiles
• A Google employee confirmed the gap on Reddit
• Workaround: install Chrome Beta or Canary builds
