Google: ChromeOS support runs through 2034, some Chromebooks can migrate to Googlebook OS

Google updated its support docs: ChromeOS will keep receiving updates and security patches through mid-2034. Many Chromebooks still in support will get a migration path to Googlebook OS, while Enterprise and Education Upgrade management features arrive in the new OS in the second half of 2027. The first Googlebooks from HP, Dell, Lenovo, Asus and Acer launch October 4–5.
