Ocean Census Confirms 57 New Deep-Sea Species Off Argentina

In the Mar del Plata Submarine Canyon off Argentina, 57 new marine species and five new genera have been confirmed. Every copepod examined from a single harpacticoid collection proved new to science — 20 species from just 10% of the samples.
