US DOE offers $4.2B to uprate three Vistra nuclear plants
The U.S. Department of Energy has offered up to $4.2 billion in conditional financing to uprate Vistra's Beaver Valley plant in Pennsylvania and Davis-Besse and Perry in Ohio. The projects would add 433 MW of capacity, preserve nearly 4 GW of generation and extend reactor operation by 20 years.
