Google Search Console adds multimodal reporting for Lens and visual search traffic

Google introduced Web multimodal search performance reporting in Search Console with a Multimodal filter that isolates traffic from Google Lens, Circle to Search on Android, image uploads to Google Search, and Chrome's image search. The data appears in both the Search performance and Generative AI features reports, with a global rollout starting September 24, 2026.
