Amazon's next Fire TV update adds an Alexa+ hub and live content from 40+ services

Amazon will roll out a free Fire TV update later this year featuring a new Alexa+ hub with prompt suggestions and conversation history, live content from over 40 streaming services, a redesigned Games hub, and a new Amazon Music app. It starts in the US on Fire TV Stick 4K Max (2nd Gen), Fire TV Cube, and Fire TV-built smart TVs.

• Alexa+ hub shows prompt suggestions, conversation history, and real-time results
• Live tab aggregates live content from more than 40 streaming services
• Games hub will surface streamable games instead of just cloud gaming apps
• Free update starts in the US this year, more devices and countries in early 2027
