GTA 6 writer says the series never focused much on national politics
Rockstar senior vice president of narrative Rupert Humphries told Love Magazine that GTA 6 will satirise Florida's social climate without tying its jokes to specific politicians or events. He noted that past entries, apart from GTA 4's war on terror themes, never put national politics at the centre.
