Ofqual: UK Schools Recover Faster From Cyber Incidents

Ofqual data shows the share of UK schools hit by cyber incidents fell from 34% in 2023-24 to 27% in 2025-26. Immediate recovery rose to 66% from 55% a year earlier, while critical damage dropped to 7%. Still, 46% of teachers see cybersecurity as solely an IT team responsibility.
