Ofqual: 27% of English schools faced cyber incidents in 2025/26

New Ofqual data shows 27% of schools and colleges in England experienced a cyber incident in the 2025/26 academic year, down from 29% a year earlier and 34% in 2023/24. Recovery is faster too: 66% bounced back immediately, up from 55%, while critical damage fell to 7%.
