Canada proposes 14 GW Labrador hydro complex for 2037
The Churchill Falls–Gull Island package in Labrador is valued at nearly $70 billion, the largest clean-energy investment in North American history. Total capacity is about 14,000 MW, including the new 2,250–2,700 MW Gull Island plant and up to 2,000 MW of wind.
