Discord Rolls Out Global Age Checks With ID Scans Handled by k-ID

Since September 22, 2026, Discord has been sorting every account into age groups: adult (18+), teen (13–17) or unconfirmed. More than 90% of users are placed automatically, while ID scans and selfies are handled by vendor k-ID and deleted right after verification.
