Mullvad shuts down public DNS on Nov 2, points users to Quad9

Mullvad is retiring the public encrypted DNS resolvers it has run since 2022 and sponsoring Quad9 instead. Its six addresses, 194.242.2.2 through 194.242.2.9, stop answering on November 2, 2026; five of them filtered ads, while none of Quad9's four variants do.
