Microsoft Elevates Rust to Tier-1 Language for Internal Development

Microsoft has elevated Rust to Tier-1 status alongside C++, C# and TypeScript, giving teams full toolchain, CI and compliance support. The rustc_codegen_utc backend has been production-ready since early 2026 and is used in over 100 Microsoft repositories.
