Ford Gave Up Over 150,000 Sales to Build Its New Budget EV
Ford discontinued the Escape and Lincoln Corsair to free up its Louisville plant for the new $30,000 Fathom electric pickup. Sales of the two crossovers have dropped by roughly 100,000 units this year, and the gap could reach 160,000 by the time the new platform launches.
