Chrome on Android tests biometric check before password autofill
Google has brought back a Chrome Canary flag called Biometric reauth for password filling, which requires biometric authentication before autofilling saved passwords. The feature has been tested since at least September 2024 and was previously pulled before reaching stable; it currently works only for some users.
