Android apps can now check security patches down to individual components

Google released stable AndroidX Security State v1.1.0 and Security State Provider v1.0.0 libraries. They let developers check three patch levels — installed (DSPL), published (PSPL) and available (ASPL) — for the Android kernel, system modules and Linux kernel, plus specific CVE status.
