YouTube Shorts Algorithm Update Targets Low-Effort Reuploads
YouTube updated its Shorts recommendation algorithm to reduce distribution for channels that re-upload other creators' videos with minimal edits or automated voiceovers. Creator Liaison Rene Ritchie said creators should add unique commentary, analysis or original storytelling instead.
