Chevy Equinox EV sales plunge 92% in Q3 as Cadillac EVs take the lead

GM sold just 1,905 Chevy Equinox EVs in Q3 2026, down 92% from over 25,000 a year earlier. Sales fell across nearly all of GM's electric models, while Cadillac's electric SUVs accounted for nearly half of the company's EV sales. GM also plans to build only about 35,000 new Bolts before production ends in Q1 2027.
