GM and PG&E offer free EV chargers and bill credits for grid balancing

GM has partnered with Pacific Gas and Electric on the Smart Charge bundle for new Chevrolet, GMC and Cadillac EV buyers in Northern and Central California. Participants get a free GM Energy PowerShift charger (up to $1,999) or PowerUp 2 ($899), a $15 monthly bill credit and up to $50 in extra savings by charging off-peak.
