Shopify buys shop.com domain

Shopify has acquired the shop.com domain from US firm Market America for an undisclosed sum. Market America will rebrand its online presence to MarketAmerica.com, built on Shopify's platform. Shopify previously bought the Canadian counterpart shop.ca in 2025 for CAD 536,000.
