TypeScript 7 on Go speeds builds up to 10x: should you upgrade

Microsoft has ported the TypeScript compiler and language service to Go: published benchmarks show full builds dropping from 125.7s to 10.6s for VS Code and from 139.8s to 15.7s for Sentry. TypeScript 7.0 ships no stable programmatic compiler API, so tools that import TypeScript as a library need the @typescript/typescript6 compatibility package.
