16-year-old suspected leader of KillSec ransomware group arrested
Eurojust said a 16-year-old is suspected of being the main operator of the KillSec ransomware group, linked to almost 1,000 attacks worldwide since 2024. The operation led to three arrests, eight house searches in Spain, Greece, the UK and Romania, and the seizure of five servers and at least 110 TB of stolen data.
