74% of Security Leaders Faced Suspected Deepfake Attacks in Past Year

The 2026 Pindrop Deepfake Readiness Index found that 74% of over 250 US security leaders encountered a suspected deepfake attack in the past 12 months, with a quarter of victims losing over $1m in a single incident. 93% said their organizations are unprepared for the threat.
