Gartner: 41% of CISOs hit by AI deepfake voice calls in past year

A Gartner survey found that 41% of CISOs reported social engineering attempts via employee phone calls involving AI deepfakes, with 36% seeing the same in video calls. 79% had seen phishing or BEC incidents, and 58% reported vishing and smishing over the past 12 months.
