Interpol builds face biometrics database, IDs 126 terror suspects

Interpol's first Operation Shams II brought 28 officers from 11 countries to Tunis for five days, extracting 108,076 images from jihadist online content and using AI agents to build a dataset of 6,362 high-quality facial images for its Facial Recognition System. The effort identified 126 terrorism suspects.
