UK data watchdog restructures with new board and Manchester HQ
On September 30 the Information Commission replaced the Information Commissioner as the statutory regulator, moving powers from a single person to a board with executive and non-executive members. The body keeps the ICO name, has moved from Wilmslow to Manchester, and a permanent chair is not expected until spring 2027.
