Azure Container Apps Express hits GA on newly available Sandboxes layer

Microsoft has made Azure Container Apps Express generally available, a deployment model that skips environment provisioning and uses opinionated defaults with per-second billing and scale to zero. Express runs on the now-GA Container Apps Sandboxes, which isolate workloads in microVMs and start in under a second.

• Express needs only an image, region and app configuration
• Per-second consumption billing with no environment fee
• Sandboxes offer microVM isolation and subsecond startup
• No GPU, Dapr, custom domains or Key Vault support
