Microsoft makes SQL Server on Azure Local generally available
Microsoft announced on September 28 that SQL Server on Azure Local is generally available for connected and disconnected operations. The release lets organizations run databases on their own infrastructure, with disconnected sites managed through a local control plane. SQL Server is licensed separately from Azure Local.
