Microsoft starts rolling out Windows 11 26H2 with security focus
Microsoft has begun rolling out Windows 11 26H2, also called the Windows 11 2026 Update, delivered as an enablement package on top of 24H2/25H2. It adds Administrator protection, built-in Sysmon, post-quantum cryptography with ML-KEM and ML-DSA, plus new Start menu and taskbar options, and extends support by two years.
