AtollJS brings true multithreading and shared memory to JavaScript
A new framework, AtollJS, adds real multithreading and shared memory to JavaScript. It offers typed memory layouts via defineSharedMemory, method-like worker calls with defineWorker, reactive reads through observe, and off-thread UI rendering with @atolljs/islands.
- defineSharedMemory compiles a field spec into a deterministic byte layout
- defineWorker exposes a typed proxy over a worker pool with queueing and respawn
- observe and defineTask read worker data without postMessage
- @atolljs/islands renders React components inside a worker and streams DOM ops
