CFS signs record deal with Fujikura for 6,200 miles of fusion reactor tape

Commonwealth Fusion Systems has signed the largest supply deal of its kind with Japan's Fujikura for over 10,000 km (about 6,215 miles) of high-temperature superconducting tape for its first commercial fusion power stations. The first deliveries will go to the Fall Line station in Chesterfield County, Virginia. CFS, backed by Bill Gates, recently raised $1bn including investment from Hyundai.
