Retatrutide trial shows up to 25% weight loss in late-stage data

Late-stage trial data for Eli Lilly's obesity drug retatrutide show patients on the highest dose lost an average of 25% of body weight at 80 weeks and 30% at 104 weeks. More than a third of participants lost 30% or more, with knee pain down up to 62% and sleep apnea events down up to 57%.
