PANXEON blood test detected stage 1–2 pancreatic cancer in 87% of cases

An experimental blood test called PANXEON identified stage 1 and 2 pancreatic cancer 87% of the time in a study of nearly 1,800 patients across the US, Europe and Asia. The test combines two types of microRNAs and the CA19-9 protein, with AI merging the signals into a single risk score; results were published in Nature Medicine.
