Apple Pay launches in India with Axis Bank

Apple is launching Apple Pay in India with Axis Bank as its first banking partner. The rollout supports Visa and Mastercard cards, while RuPay and major banks HDFC, ICICI and SBI are not included at launch. Apple charges a fee of about 20 basis points per transaction.
