Leak: OpenAI tests always-on ChatGPT assistant called "o"

References to an unannounced OpenAI assistant called "o, your always-on assistant" have surfaced in ChatGPT, including an email_suffix: "-o" field and a mention among $100 ChatGPT Pro benefits. OpenAI has not announced the product or a release date; DevDay takes place Sept. 29 in San Francisco.
