World's largest pile-driving ship departs China for Brazilian bridge project
The world's largest custom-built pile-driving ship has left Lyusi Port in Nantong, Jiangsu, on a 45-day voyage to Brazil's Bay of All Saints to help build the 12.4-km Salvador-Itaparica Bridge. The vessel can drive foundations at depths up to 70 meters and has a 156-meter pile frame with a 700-tonne lifting capacity.
