Postman launches Fabric Gateway to govern AI agents and MCP servers

Postman has announced general availability of Fabric Gateway, a protocol-agnostic control plane that governs how AI agents, LLMs and MCP servers discover and interact with APIs and tools. The gateway runs inside the customer's own cloud and unifies registry, policy, identity and observability in one workflow.

• Fabric Gateway governs agent access to APIs, CLIs, MCP servers and other agents
• Supports HTTP, gRPC, MCP and A2A with least-privilege, context-aware policies
• Gartner: 80% of organizations will replace or supplement API gateways by 2029
