Gemini fully replaces Google Assistant on Android

Google has completed the migration of Google Assistant users to Gemini on phones, tablets and paired devices in the US and Europe. The "Switch to Google Assistant" option has been removed from the Gemini app, so users can no longer revert to the old assistant. Assistant remains unchanged on Nest and Google Home smart speakers and displays.
