Switzerland Launches Pay Attent!on to Fight Payment Fraud

Switzerland has established Pay Attent!on, a permanent national association for payment fraud prevention unifying card, e-banking and mobile payment channels. EBA and ECB data show EEA payment fraud losses rose to €4.2 billion in 2024, with users bearing roughly 85% of credit transfer losses.
