Chery Stockman: world's first diesel plug-in hybrid pickup

Chery has unveiled the Stockman, billed as the world's first diesel plug-in hybrid pickup, developed for the Australian market. It claims 2 l/100 km, up to 100 km of electric range (NEDC), 469 hp combined and a 3,500 kg towing capacity.

• 2.5-liter turbo-diesel and electric motor produce 469 hp and 800 Nm
• 34 kWh battery delivers up to 100 km of electric range on NEDC
• Towing capacity of 3,500 kg with three locking differentials and low-range box
• 2 l/100 km fuel figure only applies with a fully charged battery
