EASA approves AeroSHARK bionic 'shark skin' for Airbus A330-300

Lufthansa Technik has received EASA approval to install its AeroSHARK bionic film on an Airbus A330-300 operated by Discover Airlines. The film's 50-micrometer grooves mimic shark denticles and cut fuel use by about 1% per flight, up to 2% with wings and tail covered.
