Topical ABT-263 reverses skin aging and speeds wound healing in mice

Researchers at Boston University applied the senolytic ABT-263 to aged mouse skin for five days: by day 24, 80% of treated mice had fully healed wounds versus 56% of untreated controls. The drug reduced senescent cells and boosted collagen and blood vessel growth, but has only been tested in mice so far.
