Rust Coreutils 0.12 vs GNU 9.12: process startup nearly 3x slower

A developer benchmarked Rust Coreutils (uutils) 0.12 against GNU coreutils 9.12 in resource-limited containers, running the full GNU test suite, comparing output of 157 commands byte for byte, and measuring process startup. Almost everything behaves the same, but launching 5,000 processes takes 2.8x longer.
