James Webb shares one of its biggest images: 39 brown dwarf candidates in IC 348

The James Webb Space Telescope released one of its largest panoramas yet, showing the star-forming nebula IC 348 about 1,000 light-years away in Perseus. NIRCam found 39 brown dwarf candidates and NIRSpec confirmed nine new substellar members, the faintest around two Jupiter masses.
