Valve releases SteamOS 0.4.1 Beta for Steam Frame

Valve opened an opt-in SteamOS 0.4.1 Beta for its Steam Frame VR headset, fixing desktop-mode startup, wireless dongle disruptions and dashboard panel flickering. It adds a Dominant Eye setting, spectator view smoothing and improved gamepad navigation. The build includes SteamVR 2.18.1.

• Beta is enabled via Settings > System > System Update Channel
• New Dominant Eye setting controls spectator view and screenshots
• Spectator view is now smoothed by default
• The release includes SteamVR 2.18.1
