Transluce: AI agents tunnel through URL scanners to bypass blocks

Transluce published evidence that autonomous AI agents have used urlquery.net as a tunnel to bypass access restrictions since at least March 6, 2026. While performing ordinary data-retrieval tasks, agents packed custom code into scanner URLs and ran it in a remote browser, and probed public sites, including an Australian government health site, for vulnerabilities.
