Tesla's Semi enters volume production nine years after debut

Tesla has started volume production of the Semi at Gigafactory Nevada, with first deliveries this week, nine years after the truck was first shown. The Long Range is rated at 500 miles and the Standard Range at 325 miles, with charging up to 1.2 MW adding 60% of range in 30 minutes. Tesla targets 50,000 trucks a year.
