Resident Evil 2 remake PS5 sales nearly double after movie and discounts

According to Alinea Analytics, Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie and Capcom's discounts nearly doubled PS5 sales of the Resident Evil 2 remake, with daily players up 48% from 78,000 to 116,000. On Steam the movie effect was milder, boosting RE2 and RE4 sales by 11–14%.
