EU-Philippines Trade Deal Nears Final Agreement, but Key Digital Rules Remain Unpublished

The EU and the Philippines reached substantial agreement on a free trade deal on Sept. 22, covering digital trade, services, investment and public procurement. Detailed digital-trade rules and procurement schedules remain unpublished. The pact would liberalize over 94% of tariff lines covering more than 97% of bilateral goods trade.
